GREECE

Esta mini viagem começou em Atenas onde as nossas expectativas eram bastante baixas, mas que rapidamente foram largamente ultrapassadas.

Atenas é uma cidade fantástica. Com muita vida, cultura, muitas misturas de povos e civilizações, uma história secular e para dar um toque ainda super especial, com tão bom vinho e comida. Estivemos lá apenas 2 dias e caminhos imenso, mas ficamos com a sensação que esta cidade merecia bastante mais tempo da nossa atenção para a sentirmos verdadeiramente.

This mini-trip started in Athens where our expectations were quite low, but quickly were largely exceeded. Athens is a fantastic city. With a lot of life, culture, many mixtures of people and civilizations, a secular history and such good wine and food. We were there only 2 days and made long walks, but we got the feeling that this city deserved a lot more time of our attention to truly feel it.

Depois de Atenas fomos para Santorini relaxar antes de voltar ao trabalho. E que boa decisão esta! Mar até ao horizonte, casinhas brancas todas pintadas de fresco, pôr do sol único e mágico. Que mais podemos pedir?

Ficamos instaladas num hotel fabuloso… Bem, acho que fabuloso é pouco. O Athina Luxury Suites tratou-nos como príncipes. Os quartos são lindos e novos. Super espaçosos. Na 2ª noite ficamos num quarto com jacuzzi interior e jacuzzi exterior com água aquecida. Foi simplesmente mágico e inesquecível. Ah… E sempre com pequeno almoço servido no quarto e com vistas maravilhosas.

Um especial obrigado a todo o staff que sempre nos ajudou – Koula, Athina, Lila, Bessi, Christos, Giannis, Roland e Bessi. Vocês foram incríveis!

After Athens we went to Santorini to relax before returning to work. And what a good decision this was! Sea to the horizon, white cottages all painted fresh, unique and magical sunset. What more can we ask for? We stay in a fabulous hotel … Well, I think fabulous is not enought to describe it. The Athina Luxury Suites treated us like kings. The rooms are beautiful and new. Super spacious. On the 2nd night we stayed in a room with an indoor jacuzzi and outdoor jacuzzi with heated water. It was simply magical and unforgettable. Oh … And always with breakfast served in the room and with wonderful views. A special thanks to all the staff who have always helped us – Koula, Athina, Lila, Bessi, Christos, Giannis, Roland and Bessi. You guys were awesome!

    Ir à Índia e não visitar o Taj Mahal seria uma idiotice. E acreditem… É uma das 7 maravilhas do mundo por alguma razão. Habitualmente perguntam-me se realmente vale a pena e se é tão imponente quanto dizem. Pois é muito mais do que isso. Não dá para explicar, nem as imagens traduzem a beleza do Taj Mahal. É absolutamente incrível.

    After the mini road trip we had 2 days in Edinburgh. A city full of history, culture and elegance that only the English can manage. We walked quietly through the city absorbing everything it had to offer us. Of course it is almost an heresy not to drink a Scotch Whiskey in one of so many good pubs in town (in moderation, of course).
